Children who are active and get exercise are more likely to stay active as they grow older, leading to a healthier lifestyle. We’re not talking about going to the gym for cardio; exercise for kids should be easy and fun!

The American Heart Association recommends that kids ages 2 and older should get at least 60 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity every day. If they can’t get a full 60 minutes in one stretch it can be broken up into 2 – 30 minute sessions or 4 – 15 minute sessions. Establishing a regular schedule for physical activity will help your kids, and YOU, embrace a healthier lifestyle.
